Camp Silverado Membership

If you have slept in Camp for 4 nights, then you should join now as a FOCS member.
The free - Fan of Camp Silverado is a Subscription level. An official Registered supporter of the Camp, but holds no Membership benefits.

Upgrading your membership is done through your profile page. It is in small red button that reads "Change" right next to your Membership Level. Consider becoming a Life Member.

The $40/yr - Friend of Camp Membership is good for your immediate family- spouses, and children. Joining assures you, your family, and friends access to Camp.

Check out the $100/yr FOCS Member Family Bundle to cover your entire family including that Uncle that was a Scout Master up here back in the 70s, who can't seem to use a computer.

Joining us aligns your name or your family's name with FOCS and your dues go towards the support of the repairs and improvements on needed work that we have planned. We are doing good things and primarily we are here to save the Camp from the destruction of the Lodge (accomplished) and now the random usage plans of the USFS. We are in position to steer their decisions and help maintain something more in keeping with our memories, the Camp's heritage, and establishing a continued legacy that we know as CAMP SILVERADO.

Camp's future usage will develop through a process which will take another 3 years or more. Whether or not we can get scouts back into camp as we remember it to be most likely will not happen, yet still remains to be seen. Our task is to stay in mix with the forest service while advocating for the control and maintenance of the camp.

We are well on our way to assure a FOCS alumni membership benefits to include free camping in camp for all of our families. It is important to show adequate numbers and support for the camp through fund raising in the eyes of the USFS. There is great value in us having many members that we can call Friends of Camp Silverado. The USFS listens to us because we have your numbers.

We offer a Unit Membership for Youth and Adult organizations. Unit Membership Dues are set on a scale based on roster size. Download form to see rates.

4 nights in Camp rule still applies. Unit leader should first join as an Fan of FOCS and take steps to become a full paying member as a Friend of Camp Silverado coming into Camp and staying those four nights as a guest of an Alumni Member.

FOCS Unit Bundle - All Units are due Every November 1st. Units will get first choices on the calendar based on arrival of dues paid.

Joining mid-year your dues are prorated. Unit leaders should 'register' off-line so that we can Bundle you all together. Unit Leaders can also join as Individual Members to share the Camp with your family.
